Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are
Surevey ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Surevey Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17432079, with registered office at 13 Wingmore Rd, SE24 0AS. These terms govern your use of the Surevey website and our report translation service.
2. What Surevey does
Surevey provides a plain-English translation and indicative cost estimate of an existing RICS home survey report that you upload to us. We do not conduct a physical survey or inspection of the property. Our service is a translation and cost-estimation layer applied to a report already produced by a RICS-qualified surveyor.
3. What Surevey is not
- We are not a RICS-regulated surveying firm and no RICS surveyor reviews, verifies, or re-inspects the property as part of our service.
- We do not warrant, guarantee, or take responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or professional adequacy of the underlying survey report you upload. Any errors or omissions in the original survey remain the responsibility of the surveyor who produced it.
- Our cost estimates are indicative only, generated from general industry cost data and regional day-rate benchmarks. They are not quotes, tenders, or binding pricing from any contractor, and actual costs may vary significantly based on contractor, specification, access, and market conditions at the time of work.
- Nothing in our report constitutes structural, legal, financial, or professional advice on which you should rely for a property purchase decision without independent verification.
4. Placing an order
You upload your RICS survey report (or relevant extract) and select either the Written Report (£199) or Report + Video Call (£349) package. Payment is taken at the point of order via Stripe.
If, on review, your uploaded document is unreadable, not a genuine RICS survey report, or otherwise unsuitable for processing, we will not proceed with your order. In this case we will automatically refund your payment in full and notify you by email of the reason and the expected timeframe for the refund to reach your original payment method (see our Refund Policy).
5. Delivery
Reports are generated on working days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays). If your survey is uploaded and payment completed before 4pm on a working day, we aim to deliver your report by the end of the next working day. Uploads received after 4pm, or on a non-working day, are treated as received at the start of the next working day for the purposes of this timeline.
For the £349 package, if you would like your video call scheduled for a Saturday, your survey must be uploaded by 3pm on the Friday immediately before. Uploads received after this cutoff will be scheduled for the next available call slot.
These are target timeframes, not guaranteed contractual deadlines; delays may occur due to file quality issues, high demand, or technical failure. We will notify you if we expect to miss this window materially.
6. Video call package
The £349 package includes a scheduled video call to talk through the findings. Calls are for the purpose of discussing and clarifying the contents of your Surevey report and do not constitute professional surveying, legal, or financial advice.
7. Your responsibilities
You confirm that any survey report you upload is either your own property survey or one you are otherwise authorised to share with us, and that uploading it to Surevey does not breach any third party's rights or any confidentiality obligation you owe.
8. Intellectual property
The Surevey report format, translations, and cost analysis we produce for you are provided for your personal use in connection with your property purchase decision. We retain intellectual property rights in our report templates, methodology, and branding.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses arising from decisions made in reliance on cost estimates or translated content. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Cancellation
See our separate Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place an order applies to that order.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Surevey Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our report service. Registered office: 13 Wingmore Rd, SE24 0AS. ICO registration number: pending — application in progress.
2. What we collect
- Contact details: name, email address, and phone number where provided.
- Order details: the package purchased, order date, and payment confirmation (we do not store your card details — payment is processed directly by Stripe).
- Uploaded documents: the RICS survey report (and any property details it contains, such as address and photographs of the property) that you upload for translation.
- Technical data: standard website usage data such as IP address and browser type, collected via normal web server logs.
3. How we use your data
- To process your order and generate your Surevey report.
- To take payment via Stripe and maintain order records for accounting purposes.
- To communicate with you about your order, including delivery and any video call booking.
- To improve our service and troubleshoot issues.
4. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of contract (to fulfil your order), legitimate interest (service improvement, fraud prevention), and legal obligation (accounting and tax records).
5. Third parties we share data with
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Cloud storage and infrastructure providers — used to securely store uploaded survey reports and generated documents during processing and delivery.
- Specialist processing partners — we use secure third-party technology to help analyse uploaded survey content and generate your report.
We do not sell or share your data for advertising purposes, and we do not sell your personal data to any third party.
6. Uploaded survey reports
Your uploaded survey document contains sensitive information about the property (and potentially the current owner). We treat this as confidential and process it solely for the purpose of generating your report. Retention is described below.
7. Data retention
We retain order records and generated reports for 12 months to allow you to re-download your report and for accounting purposes, after which they are deleted. You can request earlier deletion (see Section 9).
8. International transfers
Where any of our service providers process data outside the UK/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) as required by UK data protection law.
9. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact hello@surevey.com. You also have the right to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage and access controls on uploaded documents.
11. Cookies
Our website uses only the minimum cookies necessary for it to function, such as those required by our payment provider (Stripe) to process your order securely. We do not currently use non-essential cookies, such as those for advertising, analytics, or tracking. If this changes in future — for example, if we introduce a referral tracking programme for estate agent partners — we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.

Refund Policy
Last updated: 12 August 2026
1. Written reports
Once you upload your survey and complete payment, processing begins immediately in order to meet our next-working-day delivery target. Because of this, written reports are non-refundable once your document has been accepted for processing, in line with the standard exception for on-demand digital services under UK consumer law. By placing an order, you acknowledge and consent to processing beginning immediately, and that this means your statutory right to cancel does not apply once processing begins.
If your uploaded document cannot be processed — for example because it is unreadable, incomplete, or not a genuine RICS survey report — we will not proceed with your order. In this case you will receive an automatic full refund and an email confirming the reason and expected refund timeframe.
2. Delivery issues
Our delivery target is the end of the next working day following a valid upload (see our Terms & Conditions for full detail on how this is calculated). Missing this target on its own does not entitle you to a refund — occasional delays can occur due to technical issues, maintenance, or unexpected demand.
If your report has not been delivered within 7 days of a valid upload, contact us at hello@surevey.com and we will investigate. Where we confirm the failure to deliver was due to a fault on our part, you are entitled to a full refund, issued within 7 business days of our confirmation.
3. Quality concerns
If you believe your report contains a genuine material error — for example, a mistranslation of the original survey content or a cost estimate clearly disconnected from the source data — contact us at hello@surevey.com within 14 days of delivery. Where we agree a material error has occurred, we will correct and reissue your report at no additional cost. Corrections of this kind do not entitle you to a partial or full refund; our remedy for quality concerns is correction of the report, not a refund.
4. Video call package
Video calls must be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed calls, are not eligible for a refund of the video call element.
If you purchased the £349 package, the video call has not yet taken place, and you cancel with the required notice, you may request a refund of the difference between the two packages while keeping your written report. If the call has taken place, refunds are handled under the quality concerns process above.
5. How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned to your original Stripe payment method within 7 business days.
